Info night Oct. 22 on Woodbridge MIddle’s same gender classes
A one-of-a-kind program at Woodbridge Middle School will be spotlighted on Thursday, October 22 at an information night at the school. Anyone interested in the school’s signature same-gender classes is invited to attend the presentation at 7 p.m.
Students, teachers, and administrators will share their experiences and the positive experiences they have had while developing and implementing the program, which began nine years ago.
The same-gender program offers students the choice to be on an academic team that is either all-male or all-female, or coeducational in language arts, math, science, foreign language, and social studies. All other classes follow a traditional coeducational format. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
To be considered for transfer into this program, parents must complete the opt-in form transfer requirements.
Information sessions will also be held on November 18 and on January 6.
