Malicious Wounding | Crash Investigation – On Thursday, Dec. 10 at 9:38AM, Prince William County police officers responded to the area of Purcell Rd. and Anne Marie Ln. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a two-vehicle crash.
According to MPO Renee Carr, public information officer for Prince William County Police, the investigation revealed that while traveling northbound on Purcell Rd. the driver of a 2019 Subaru Impreza, later identified as the accused, intentionally veered into oncoming traffic, striking a 2018 Chevy Express head on. Both drivers needed to be extricated from their vehicles by rescue personnel.
The driver of the Chevy, identified as a 32-year-old man, was flown to an area hospital while the passenger of the Chevy, a 23-year-old man, and the accused were ground transported to area hospitals, all with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, on Dec. 18, crash investigators obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as James Joseph WOLFE. who was arrested on Dec. 20.

Charged with 2 counts of malicious wounding and 1 count of felony destruction of property
