Gunshot damages Occoquan Elementary School
Vandalism to a School – On April 29th at 11:45AM, police responded to Occoquan Elementary School located at 12915 Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a vandalism.
Staff reported to police that sometime between 9:00PM on April 26th and 11:00AM on April 29th, an unknown person shot a single bullet through one of the classroom windows of the school.
The projectile struck an electronic SmartBoard inside the classroom, causing around $12,000 in damage.
The school was not occupied with students or staff during the time frame of the incident, according to Prince William County VA police.
