Theft from Auto
On Jan. 18, 2017, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 8600 block of Terrace View Ct for a report of a theft from auto. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 3 p.m. on Jan. 17 and 7 a.m. on Jan. 18, someone entered her vehicle and after rummaging through it, stole an mp3 player valued at $55 and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Larceny from Building
On Jan. 18, 2017, Manassas City Police responded to Public Storage, located at 8850 Sudley Rd, for a report of a larceny. The reporting party told officers that sometime between mid-Dec. 2016 and 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 11, someone entered his locked storage unit and stole a black handgun valued at $700. Also missing were the gun bag, two sight scopes, and other related items valued together at $1,200.
