Gainesville’s John Medlock acknowledged that as a grandfather, he loves his grandchildren differently from his children. He said he seemed to have more time for his children’s kids.
Richard Parker’s son and his wife had triplets not too long ago. Parker adores seeing how his son interacts with his now year-old daughters.
Dr. Thomas Chamberlain, whom his grandson Brady calls “Puh,” brought unexpected joy and a sense of familiarity to the grandfather.
Like Parker, Carlos Hernandez is continually impressed by his children’s ability to care and love their children.
