Proposed Haymarket Power Lines
SB 966, which is identical to HB 1558, has been signed by the Governor. SB 966 contains the pilot program that guarantees the proposed Haymarket power lines are buried. This is great news for western Prince William residents who have consistently stated that the I-66/Hybrid route is the only acceptable option for new power lines, according to a news note from del. Tim Hugo who represents part of Prince William County.

Time to pay Prince William County property taxes; deadline is Dec. 5
Taxpayers are encouraged to pay their taxes before the Dec. 5 due date. A late payment penalty of 10 percent will apply to any unpaid tax balance after the Dec. 5 deadline. Additionally, interest will accrue monthly on unpaid balances at a rate of 10 percent per annum until they are fully paid.
