Governor appoints two PWC business leaders to state boards

Gov. Glenn Youngkin has named two Prince William County residents to state boards, according to a news release from his office.
Mike Sandkuhler of Catharpin, Vice President of Building Operations, Van Metre Homes, has been named to the Virginia Manufactured Housing Board.
David J. Branscome of Woodbridge, Vice President, Julius Branscome Inc., has been named to the Board of Directors of the Virginia Resources Authority.

Manassas Council names Steve Burke as new Manassas City Manager
Steve Burke, an Assistant City Manager and Director of Public Works for the City of Manassas, has been named City Manager by Manassas City Council effective February. 3, 2025. Interim City Manager Douglas Keen will return to his post as Police Chief and an Assistant City Manager.
