Throwing Missiles into an Occupied Dwelling

On March 19, 2012 at 3 p.m., police responded to the Prince William County Community Services Board’s Manassas office located at 7969 Ashton Ave in Manassas (20109) for an initial call of shots fired inside the office. Multiple officers responded to the scene quickly where it was determined that the no shots were actually fired. The investigation revealed that an unknown man, later identified as the accused, had entered the office and threw a rock towards a glass partition which caused it to shatter down on to two employees sitting just on the other side. No injuries were reported. The man fled the scene in a taxi which was stopped on I-66 near the Fairfax County line. The accused was subsequently taken into custody without further incident. Arrested: Steven Tyler GRAY, 20, of 7515 Bosbury Ct. in Manassas. Charged with throwing missiles [rock] into an occupied dwelling. Court date and bond information unavailable.
