Generator and 8 catalytic converters missing from 9 vehicles in Manassas

Larceny from Auto
On January 4, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9000 block of Bonham Cir for a report of a larceny from auto.  The victim told officers that during the overnight hours, a generator was stolen out of the bed of his pickup truck.  The generator, valued at $700.00, was unsecured at the time of the theft.  The victim also reported that a few nights prior, a siding brake, valued at $1,500.00, was also stolen from his second work truck, which was parked in front of his residence at the time of the theft.

Breaking and Entering
On January 2, 2015, Manassas City Police met with an employee of Northern Virginia Auto Auction, located at 10700 Wakeman Ct, for a report of a breaking and entering.  The reporting party told officers that sometime between 2:00PM on December 31st and 4:00PM January 2nd, someone broke into the site and stole catalytic converters from eight different vehicles on the lot.  The same business was targeted with a similar crime in October of 2014.
