**INCIDENTS**
Burglary to a Place of Worship – On October 19 at 8:03PM, officers responded to the Northern Virginia Baptist Center located at 14019 Glenkirk Rd in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 9:30PM on October 18 and 6:40PM on October 19. The investigation revealed entry was made into the building through a rear door which was found damaged. Minor damage was observed inside the center. No property was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On October 19 at 9:45PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 9100 block of Yorkshire Ln in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 6:00PM and 8:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A gaming console and other related property were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On October 19 at 7:17PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 2700 block of Green Ash Lp in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 1:00PM and 5:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Gaming equipment and a laptop were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On October 19 at 6:10PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 15700 block of Tassleford Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 2:00PM and 5:30PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a front door which was found damaged. A television, money, tablet, and gaming console were reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Unlawful Wounding – On October 19 at 4:21PM, officers responded to Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a fight. When officers arrived a woman, later identified as the accused, was being detained by security personnel. The investigation revealed the accused was involved in an altercation with a male acquaintance inside the mall near the food court. At one point, two security officers attempted to intervene and resolve the situation. During the encounter, the accused struck one of the security officers and became belligerent. When security personnel attempted to detain the accused, she actively resisted and began biting, striking, and scratching both security officers. Police arrived and detained the accused without further incident. Both security officers sustained minor injuries and were treated by rescue personnel. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Elizabeth Regina HOUSTON, was arrested.
