Gainesville Neighborhood Library, 4603 James Madison Highway, Haymarket, VA 20169 is now scheduled to reopen on Monday, Dec. 22 at 10 a.m., according to a news release.
The Library has been closed for repairs since Sept. 10, when e. coli bacteria was found in the water.
All items normally held for patrons at Gainesville can be picked up at the Bull Run Regional Library, 8051 Ashton Avenue, Manassas, VA 20109, the release said.
The book drop at Gainesville Neighborhood Library is locked until Dec. 22. Items for return may be dropped off at any other Prince William Public Library location.
To donate books to the Friends of the Gainesville Library, while the library is closed, email friends.gainesville.lib@gmail to make arrangements.
