Murder Investigation – On November 10th at 4:28PM, officers responded to the 12500 block of Oakwood Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a reported shooting, according to Officer Jonathan Perok, spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department.
Officers arrived in the area and located the victim on a pathway between the Woodbridge Senior High School and adjoining neighborhood. The victim, identified as a 16 year old male juvenile who attends Woodbridge Senior High School, sustained gunshot related injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
On November 11th, detectives from the Homicide Unit identified four suspects in connection to this case. The investigation revealed that the shooting was drug related and that all parties were known to one another.
Police have located and arrested three of the suspects in this case. The fourth, identified as a juvenile, is still being actively sought. The investigation continues.
This is Prince William County’s 5th murder of 2014.

It is “just a coincidence” that the victim and one of the suspects have the same surname, Off. Perok said.
