Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On May 22 at 4:37PM, an officer observed a suspicious person in the area of Ranger Lp in Woodbridge (22191) while investigating a shooting incident in the area of Eisenhower Cir and Marys Way. During the encounter, the accused exhibited signs of intoxication. When the officers attempted to detain the accused, he resisted and struck the officer in the chest. The accused was quickly detained without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On May 21 at 11:29PM, officers responded to the 16100 block of Sumney Dr in Manassas (20110) to investigate a domestic dispute. Officers arrived and made contact with a man, identified as the accused, who exhibited signs of intoxication. During the encounter, the accused became agitated towards the officers. When the officers attempted to arrest the accused, he resisted and kicked one of the officers in the upper body. The accused was quickly detained without further incident. The accused was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Minor injuries were reported to the officer. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On May 21 at 7:35AM, officers responded to the Walmart located at 9401 Liberia Ave in Manassas (20110) to investigate a larceny. Officers arrived and made contact with the accused. During the investigation, it was determined that the accused was using stolen credit cards to make purchases. When the officers attempted to arrest the accused, he resisted and struck one of the officers in the face. The accused was quickly detained without further incident. Minor injuries were reported to the officer. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On May 20 at 10:30AM, an officer observed a traffic violation on a moped in the area of the Dale Blvd and Gerry Ln in Woodbridge (20193). The officer conducted a vehicle stop and the operator of the moped stopped. During the encounter, officers determined the accused was wanted for unrelated charges. When the officers attempted to arrest the accused, he resisted and struck one of the officers in the foot. The accused was quickly detained without further incident. Minor injuries were reported to the accused. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
