Five PWC high school students chosen for national honors choirs
Five PWCS students impressed the audition panel for the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Honors Choirs to earn invitations to perform at the ACDA convention in Minneapolis in March 2017, according to a news release from Prince William County Schools.
Selected were Tanner Jaksa and Mary Cate Walsh from Battlefield High School in Haymarket; and Adellaie Jung, Xavier Howard, and Maria Pittell from Colgan High School in Manassas.
The National Honors Choirs will work with conductors Eric Whitacre and Lynell Joy Jenkins.
