Fathers’ Day shooting in Triangle

This just in at 3:05 p.m. reports Officer Jonathan Perok, spokesman for Prince William County Police Department:

INCIDENT: Shooting | Triangle
Triangle Shopping Plz. The victim, an adult male, sustained gunshot wounds following an altercation with 3 other individuals. Following the incident, the suspects fled on foot.

A police K-9 and helicopter are responding to the area.

The victim is being flown out from a nearby location. The parties involved are believed to be known to one another.

Currently, one travel lane NB on RT1 is also blocked.

Additional information will be released via social media when available. The investigation continues.
