Fatality on Kahns Road in Manassas

INCIDENTS
• Fatal Crash Investigation –
On January 8, 2023 at 4:32PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of Kahns Rd and Dark Forest Dr in Manassas (20112) to investigate a single vehicle crash. The investigation revealed the driver of a 2022 Honda CRV was traveling southbound on Kahns Rd when the vehicle left the roadway and traveled down an embankment through a ravine up and a second embankment before coming to rest in a ditch after crossing Dark Forest Dr. A bystander administered CPR to the driver before she was transported to an area hospital where she died from her injuries later that evening. No other vehicles were involved, or injuries reported. Investigators with the Crash Investigation Unit are asking anyone who may have witnessed this crash to contact police. The investigation continues.

• Armed Robbery – On January 8, 2023 at 10:23AM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to the Coverstone Apartments located in the 10900 block of Coverstone Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 43-year-old man, was outside an apartment when he was approached by two unknown men. During the encounter, one of the suspects grabbed the victim and brandished a firearm towards him, while the other suspect went through the victim’s pockets. The suspects took the victim’s property and then fled on foot. No injuries were reported. A phone and an undisclosed amount of money were reported missing.
Suspect Descriptions:
A tall black male, approximately 6’2”, with a thin build, with short blond braided hair
Last seen wearing a dark colored knit cap, a blue jacket, and black pants
A white male, approximately 5’0”, with a thin build

• Armed Robbery – On January 6, 2023 at 8:11PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Dale Forest Apartments located in the 14300 block of Westminister Ln. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victims, a 22-year-old man, a 22-year-old woman, and a 19-year-old woman, were sitting in a parked vehicle in the above area when an unknown man entered the backseat of the vehicle brandishing a firearm. The suspect demanded the victim’s property before physically striking the male victim with the firearm. A short time later, two additional unknown men approached the vehicle demanding additional property from the victims. The victims then got out of the vehicle and fled the area. A cell phone, jewelry, keys, and a firearm were reported missing. Fire and rescue personnel responded and transported the male victim to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There is no further suspect description at this time.

• Burglary While Armed – On January 6, 2023 at 1:55PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 14800 block of Dillon Ave. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived at the residence, they located two residents of the home, a 20-year-old man suffering from a non-gunshot related head injury, and a 22-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the lower body.
Officers immediately provided first aid for the gunshot injury, until fire and rescue personnel arrived and flew the man to an area hospital where he is expected to survive. The other resident was treated at the scene by fire and rescue personnel for minor injuries.
The investigation revealed four armed masked men forced entry into the home identifying themselves as law enforcement. Once inside the residence, the two residents were bound. During the encounter, the suspects struck one of the men with a firearm causing the head injury, while the second man was shot. The suspects took a pair of shoes and fled the home. At this time, the incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
Suspect Descriptions:
A black male, approximately 6’3”, 170lbs.
A white male, approximately 5’7”, 200lbs., with bushy eyebrows
All four of the suspects were last seen wearing a full ski-style mask and dark colored clothing

• Strong-Arm Robbery – On January 7, 2023 at 7:06AM, officers responded to the Shell service station located at 7025 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed an unknown woman, later identified as the accused, lured an employee from the store. When the employee re-entered the business, an unknown man was observed behind the service counter taking lottery tickets.
When the employee confronted the male suspect, he was struck and pushed before the suspect fled the store with unpaid lottery tickets. The employee observed the male suspect, and the accused get into a silver vehicle occupied by another unknown woman. No injuries were reported.
While investigating the incident, officers determined the suspect vehicle was reported stolen out of Prince William County and located both the vehicle and the accused nearby. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Victoria Maria DUDLEY, was arrested.
Officers obtained arrest warrants after identifying the female occupant in the vehicle as Deanna Marie PARNHAM. Attempts to locate the PARNHAM suspect were unsuccessful. The unidentified suspect was described as a black male, between 18-25 years of age wearing a black hat, a black jacket, a tan colored shirt, and black gloves.

*WANTED*
Strong-Arm Robbery –
On January 6, 2023 at 10:19PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of the 7300 block of Williamson Blvd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 24-year-old man, was in the above area, when multiple suspects approached him from a red Kia sedan. During the encounter, the suspects struck the victim before taking a notebook from him. The suspects fled the area in their vehicle and the victim contacted the police. Fire and rescue personnel responded and treated the victim at the scene for minor injuries. The suspects were described as white and black males wearing all black clothing.

ARRESTS
• Reckless Handling of a Firearm –
On January 7, 2023 at 11:14PM, officers were in the area of Oakwood Dr. and Cantania Pl. in the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge (22192) when gunfire was heard. As officers approached the area, multiple individuals were observed fleeing on foot. Officers nearby encountered two of the men who had fled from the above area. One of the men, identified as the accused, attempted to flee, and was quickly detained by officers without further incident. A firearm was recovered. No injuries or property damage were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Raymond Montel COBB Jr., was arrested.

• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On January 8 at 11:58PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Stoney Ridge Apartments located in the 14400 block of Artery Ln. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic. When officers arrived at the location, they observed one of the women involved in the domestic, later identified as the accused, in the parking lot. Officers made contact with the accused who was determined to be intoxicated and attempted to detain her. The accused actively resisted and refused to follow officer’s commands. After a brief struggle, the accused was taken into custody. During the incident, the accused kicked an officer. While processing the accused at the Prince William-Manassas Adult Detention Center, the accused continued to actively resist and kicked a second officer. The accused was resecured without further incident. The investigation into the domestic revealed the incident was verbal only. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Anna Gloria MASTROMARINO, was arrested.

• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On January 8 at 6:53PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 9400 block of Liberia Ave. in Manassas (20110) to investigate an intoxicated person. Officers located the man in the parking lot of a local business where he was detained. As officers were searching the accused, he actively resisted and spat on an officer before being resecured. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Keshon Terrell JACKSON, was arrested.
