Employee hurt when bottles of alcohol leave ABC store in Woodbridge

**ARRESTS**

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Robbery - On August 8 at 9:00PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the ABC store located at 16661 River Ridge Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a disorderly call.

An employee, identified as a 68-year-old woman, reported to police that an unknown woman, later identified as the accused, entered the store, grabbed three bottles of alcohol, and walked out of business without paying.

The employee followed the accused in an attempt to get the bottles back. At that point, the accused struck the victim in the head with one of the bottles causing a severe laceration to the victim’s head. The accused then picked up a shard of glass and made threats to the victim before the accused walked back into the store and grabbed two more bottles of alcohol.

The accused then left the store and the scene prior to police arriving. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The accused, identified as Ivy Joethel MOOREFIELD, was located and arrested without further incident at her residence.

Charged with aggravated malicious wounding and robbery
