Incidents
• Armed Robbery – On Monday, Dec. 27, 2021 at 7:38PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the Target located at 2460 Prince William Pkwy in Woodridge (22192) to investigate a robbery.
Loss prevention staff reported to police that two women were seen inside the store filling two shopping carts with merchandise. The women proceeded to the front of the store where a loss prevention staff member intervened. During the encounter, one of the women pulled out a bottle of bug spray and attempted to spray the staff member. The woman was unable to remove the cap before both women proceeded further towards the exit.
When the staff member attempted to grab the other cart of merchandise, the second woman pulled out an electroshock weapon and arced the device. The staff member backed away from the suspects who then left the store where they were then seen getting into a black SUV with the items and fleeing the area.
No injuries were reported. Two shopping carts with various merchandise were reported missing.
Suspect Descriptions:
Both suspects were described as black women, one wearing a brown jacket, black pants with a “Polo” logo, and a black ski mask; while the other woman wore a purple jacket with gray leggings
Assault & Battery of a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] On December 28 at 1:23AM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the Molinari Juvenile Shelter at 8642 Wellington Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a juvenile who walked away from the facility. Officers circulating the area located the juvenile walking in the middle of the roadway on Rixlew Ln.
As officers attempted to remove the juvenile from the roadway to keep her from being hit by passing vehicles, the juvenile became noncompliant. During the encounter, the juvenile pushed one officer and kicked another officer. The juvenile was eventually secured. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the juvenile, a 17-year-old female, was arrested.
