Eighth graders design and build roller coaster at Kings Dominion
Rippon Middle School eighth grade students had the chance to participate in Kings Dominion’s Coaster Mania competition where they designed and built a gravity coaster of their own. The coasters are on display for all park visitors to see.
During the competition the students answer questions from Kings Dominion’s own engineers regarding their coaster and the design. Mason G. and Rownan C. took second place with their innovative coaster design, according to Prince William County Schools spokesman Irene Cromer
