Dissatisfied food app customer files police report about being shown handgun by delivery person

Brandishing of a Firearm – On August 10 at 7:13PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 5500 block of Shadybrook Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a brandishing. The victim, a 32-year-old woman, reported to police that she ordered food through a delivery app. After ordering the food, the victim messaged the driver to check on the delivery status.

When the food arrived, the bag was not properly sealed, and the victim refused to accept the order. A verbal altercation ensued between the victim and the driver. At one point during the argument, the driver walked back to his vehicle and retrieved a handgun. The driver exchanged words with the victim before getting into his vehicle, described as a black Jeep with Maryland license plates, and leaving the area.

The victim was not injured, and no physical contact was made between the victim or the driver. The investigation continues as officers attempt to identify the driver.

White male, possibly Hispanic, unknown age, 5’11”, 265lbs with black hair and a beard

Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage – On Thursday, Aug. 12 at 1:19PM, Prince William County Police officers responded the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and Wayside Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a road rage incident.

The investigation revealed that the victim, identified as a 45-year-old man, was driving in the area above when the driver of an unknown dark-colored van stopped his vehicle. At one point, the other driver exited his vehicle and the victim drove off.

As the victim was driving away, he observed the other driver walk back to his vehicle and retrieve a handgun. The driver was seen waving the firearm in the air as the victim left the area. No injuries were reported, and no further contact was made between the victim and the other driver.

The other driver was only described as a white male, possible Hispanic, with dark hair wearing a blue shirt and dark-colored pants.
