Delegate Marshall offering “A Day with Your Delegate” program during 2014 General Assembly

Delegate Bob Marshall will offer an opportunity for students in 8th-12th grades to participate in his “A Day with Your Delegate ” Program.

This program is open to students who are interested in learning more about the legislative process.

  Students would come to the General Assembly in Richmond for one day during the 2014 General Assembly Session with their parent.  The 2014 General Assembly Session begins January 8, 2014.

Students and parents would attend committee meetings, sit in on the House of Delegates session, and attend any other press conferences or meetings I attend during the day to get a better idea of how Virginia’s legislature works.

We will accommodate as many students as possible but will have to give priority to students from the 13th House of Delegates District.
