• Armed Robbery – On Friday, Dec. 24, 2021 at 2:23PM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to Walmart located at 17041 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. Store employees reported to police that two individuals, a man and woman, were seen selecting and concealing items within the store.
When the employee confronted the couple as they attempted to leave, the male suspect pulled out a knife and threatened the employee before both suspects fled the store. No injuries were reported. An off-duty police officer attempted to stop the suspects. The male suspect dropped the knife and merchandise before continuing to flee. Officers recovered the weapon used and all property taken. A police K-9 and helicopter assistance from Fairfax County police searched the area for the suspects who were not located.

White male, unknown age, 5’8”, 150lbs with a thin build and black hair
Last seen wearing a blue beanie hat, red long-sleeved t-shirt, “Cheetos” pajama pants, white shoes, and carrying a black backpack
Female, unknown race or age, 5’10, 180lbs with shoulder length black hair
Last seen wearing a teal V-neck sweater, “Christmas” pajama pants, white crocs shoes, and carrying a lavender bag
• Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2021 at 5:07PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the 4100 block of Windflower Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shots fired call. While officers were canvassing the area, they located the residence from where the shots were fired.
Officers made contact with a resident of the home, identified as the accused, and determined she was responsible. The investigation revealed that the accused fired multiple rounds into the air from the deck area of the home. Several residences were in close proximity to where the shots were fired. No property damage or injuries were immediately reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Desirae P. MIDDOUGH, was charged.

• Malicious Wounding – On Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021 at 11:30PM, officers from he Prince William County Police Department responded to investigate a malicious wounding that was reported to have occurred behind the Dumfries Shopping Center in the 17900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) at approximately 10:30PM.
The victim, a 46-year-old man, reported to police that he was walking behind the shopping center towards his residence when he encountered two unknown men. During the encounter, a fight ensued before the men fled.
According to Frst Sgt. Jonathan Perok, public information officer, The victim walked to his residence where it was determined he had been cut severely multiple times to his upper body. The victim attempted to treat the wounds and eventually contacted rescue. The victim was transported to an area hospital where the injuries were determined to be non-life threatening. Perok said the victim was not cooperative with police regarding the incident or describing the suspects beyond stating they were two young black males. He also noted that the officers attempted to locate the scene where the altercation occurred and were unsuccessful.
• Shooting Investigation – On Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021 at 11:28PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 12700 block of Bedford Glen Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shooting, according to First Sgt. Jonathan Perok, public information officer.
When officers arrived on scene, Perok said they made contact with the victim, a 23-year-old man, who was uninjured. The victim reported to police that he was parking his vehicle in his driveway when he observed an unknown man ducking behind a vehicle at a home across the street. At one point, the man met up with two other men who were coming from behind the same home before all three fled on foot.
The victim followed the men in his vehicle to the area of Aubrey Glen Terrace where a verbal altercation ensued. During the encounter, one of the men handed another what appeared to a firearm. The victim attempted to drive away when several gunshots were heard. A round struck the rear glass window of the victim’s vehicle causing glass to shatter. The victim was not struck during the incident as the suspects continued to flee on foot.
Video surveillance obtained from residences on Bedford Glen Way revealed that the three suspects were trying to enter parked vehicles in the neighborhood. Shell casings were located on Aubrey Glenn Terrace, No other property damage or no injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located.
Nudity with the groceries – On Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021 at 7:44PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Stratford Condos located in the 8200 block of Winstead Pl in Manassas (20109) to investigate an indecent exposure. The victim, a 62-year-old woman, reported to police that she was walking from her vehicle to her residence when she was approached by an unknown man.
The man initially asked the victim for directions. During the encounter, the man exposed himself to the victim. The man walked away, and the victim contacted police. While officers were on scene, a second call involving the suspect exposing himself was received. The victim in that incident, a 60-year-old woman, reported to police that she was taking groceries into her residence in the area of Flager Cir and Campaign Ct when she was approached by an unknown man. The man again asked for directions before exposing himself. The man fled on foot when the victim yelled.
The same description was provided to officers in both incidents. Officers checked the area for the suspect who was not located. No physical contact was made with either victim and no injuries were reported.

• Commercial Burglary – On Sunday. Dec. 26, 2021 at 10:18AM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to Guaranteed Used Tires located at 13958 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The owner reported to police that the burglary occurred around 4:07AM. Video surveillance revealed an unknown man entered the business through an unsecured side window. The man took multiple tools before fleeing. Two other individuals appeared to be waiting for the suspect as he fled.
• Commercial Burglary – On Friday, Dec. 24, 2021 at 9:50PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the Mapleshade Animal Hospital located at 5597 Mapledale Plz in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an alarm activation. When officers arrived at the business, they observed the rear door was pried opened. Video surveillance revealed a male suspect used a shovel for force open the door. The suspect then entered the business and took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. A police K-9 checked the business and searched the area for the suspect who was not located.

Last seen wearing a light-colored beanie, dark-colored quarter-zip jacket, light-colored jeans, dark-colored shoes, and dark-colored heavy winter gloves
• Commercial Burglary – On Friday, Dec. 24 at 9:40AM, officers responded to Center Plaza Cleaners located at 4305 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. A business employee reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 6:00PM on Dec. 23 and 8:00AM on Dec. 24. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through a glass door that was found damaged. No property was reported missing.
• Commercial Burglary – On Friday, Dec. 24, 2021 at 7:56AM, officers responded to the Sherwin Williams at 7361 Miramar Dr in Manassas (22191) to investigate a burglary. A business employee reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 6:30PM on December 23 and 6:57AM on December 24. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through the front glass door which was found damaged. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.
Attempted Commercial Burglary – On Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 at 8:58PM, officers responded to the Tommy Hilfiger located at Potomac Mills, 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. A business manager reported to police that someone attempted to enter the business on December 19 at approximately 12:24AM. The manger advised an alarm activation was received around that time and mall security was notified. At the time, no signs of forced entry were observed. Upon reviewing the video surveillance on December 21, the manager observed an unknown man attempting to lift the security gate to the business. The gate was unable to be lifted and the suspect left. The suspect appeared to have been with another individual who was not seen on video. No property was reported missing.

Arrests
• Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Attempted Armed Robbery – On Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 at 7:40PM, officers responded to the area of Mount Pleasant Dr and Potomac Vista Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an initial report of a crash. When officers arrived on scene, they learned the two occupants in the vehicle fled after striking an occupied vehicle and a separate unoccupied vehicle.
As officers were investigating the initial crash, a call was received reporting an individual, identified as a 28-year-old man, had been stabbed in the area of Marumsco Plz. Officers arrived at that location and rendered aid to the victim until rescue personnel arrived on scene. During the investigation, officers connected both scenes and determined that the occupants of the vehicle had stabbed and attempted to rob the man before fleeing and later crashing in the above area.
A police K-9 and helicopter assistance from Fairfax County police assisted in the search for the suspects. Officers were able to identify one of the suspects as Jose Alexis LEMUS MARQUEZ and apprehended him without incident at his residence on Brice St in Woodbridge.
Officers also identified the second suspect as Martin ORELLANA NUNEZ and further determined he was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the collision. Officers obtained arrest warrants for ORELLANA NUNEZ who has not been located. The stabbing victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Officers also determined that one of the suspects was known to the stabbing victim. No injuries were reported from the crash.

Described as a Hispanic male, 5’6”, 150lbs with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for aggravated malicious wounding, attempted robbery, assault by mob, felony hit & run, and misdemeanor hit & run
• Strangulation | Domestic Related – On Dec. 25, 2021 at 11:40PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 14800 block of Cartagena Dr in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a domestic.
The investigation revealed that a verbal altercation escalated physically between the victim, identified as a 17-year-old female juvenile, and a family member, a 38-year-old woman. During the encounter, another family member, identified as the accused, entered the bedroom where he separated the parties and, at one point, choked the victim.
The victim initially left the residence and later responded to the police station to report the incident. The victim sustained multiple injuries to her body. Rescue personnel responded and treated the victim. The accused and other family members reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as William Roy COUCH, was arrested.

• Unlawful Filming – On Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 2:51PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the Forever 21 located within Potomac Mills, 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192), to investigate an unlawful filming.
Store employees reported to police that a man, later identified as the accused, was the dressing room area recording other patrons in adjacent dressing rooms. The accused was recording the other patron by placing a cell phone through a gap where the partition walls met the floor. The accused was still in the dressing room and detained by officers on scene.
Officers obtained the cell phone of the accused revealing multiple concerning videos and photos over the course of approximately two years. Detectives are following up to possibly identify the individuals and where the offenses occurred. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Chien Nan CHEN, was arrested. The investigation continues.
