For the third year, Delegate Richard Anderson will host his Future Delegate Program at the Virginia State Capitol during the 2015 legislative session that runs from January 14 to February 28.
“During the program, I host a PWC student for an entire day with me at the Capitol, attending all committee meetings, the daily House floor session, press conferences, meetings with senior elected officials, and much more…in short, the student stays with me for the entire day from 8am-5pm,” he explained.
For interested families, Anderson and his staff will host an orientation session on Tuesday, December 16, 7-8:30pm, Powell’s Creek Conference Room, McCoart Government Center, 1 County Complex Court, Woodbridge, VA.
At that time, they will discuss the 2015 program, answer questions, and hand out application forms.
Anderson says, “This is an excellent opportunity for young people to experience Virginia state government first-hand and consider a career in public service.”
The program is managed by his 51st House District Neighborhood Outreach Coordinator, Ms. Kristina Schnack Kotlus, who can be reached at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
