County police officers allegedly struck in two incidents in Woodbridge

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On December 29 at 3:31PM, officers responded to the CVS located at 2200 Tacketts Mill Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shoplifting. Employees alleged the accused was attempting to steal prescription medications from the store. Employees were able to stop the accused before she left the business. When officers arrived, they placed the accused under arrest. During the arrest, the accused attempted to strike the officer with a rock she had concealed in her hand. The accused was eventually detained. No officers were injured. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Christine Naomi CASINO, was arrested.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On December 30 at 3:48AM, a Virginia State Police trooper was processing a prisoner at the Gar-Field station located at 15948 Donald Curtis Dr in Woodbridge (22191). While being processed, the accused became agitated and attempted to remove her hands from the handcuffs. At one point, the accused began kicking in the air, striking and breaking an emergency switch on a nearby bench. A Prince William County police officer attempted to re-secure the accused and was kicked in the leg. The accused was eventually re-secured. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Romina Valentina SANTIBANEZ-LARGOS, was charged.
