County police investigating pedestrian fatality on Davis Ford Road
Fatal Crash Investigation – On March 24 at 12:19PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the 6600 block of Davis Ford Rd in Manassas (20111) to investigate a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is currently underway. The pedestrian involved, identified as an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The driver of the striking vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene of the crash. Further information on the crash will be released when available.
The identity of the deceased pedestrian will also be released once a next of kin is notified.
Davis Ford Rd is expected to reopen as soon as the roadway is cleared. The investigation continues.
