County Police investigate stabbing of 16-year-old in Manassas

**INCIDENTS**

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Stabbing Investigation – On January 11 at 9:07PM, officers responded to the area of Rixlex Ln and Ashton Ave in Manassas (20109) to investigate a stabbing. The victim, a 16 year old male juvenile of Manassas, reported to police that he was in the above area when he was approached by two unknown men. During the encounter, the victim was stabbed multiple times and hit in the head knocking him to the ground.  The victim was eventually able to flee the area and contact police. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects who were not located. The victim was flown to an area hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. Detectives have determined that this was not random. The investigation continues.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding – On January 8 at 2:33PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7600 block of Quail Run Ln in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 29 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused punched the victim in the face and mouth. The victim was eventually able to separate from the accused and contact police as accused fled the area. Serious, non-life threatening injuries were reported by the victim. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the accused. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Jubentino DELACRUZ, 41, of the 7600 block of Quail Run Ln in Manassas
Described as a white male, 5’3”, 150lbs with a medium build, with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for aggravated malicious wounding, grand larceny, and domestic assault & battery
