County police investigate Manassas abduction after victim escapes in Fairfax

**INCIDENTS**

Malicious Wounding – On April 4 at 12:35PM, officers responded to the 6600 block of Hunting Path Rd in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a stabbing. The victim, a 33-year-old man, reported to police that he was outside of his residence in the above area when two men approached him from behind. During the encounter, one of the men pulled out a pocket style knife and swung it towards the victim. At one point, the victim was stabbed in the lower body. The suspects then immediately fled on foot. No words were exchanged between the suspects or the victim during the incident and no property was taken. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries and has since been released. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
Suspect Descriptions:
Two white males, both between 20 & 25 years of age, 5’8”-5’9” with full beards
One of the men was last seen wearing a camouflage sweatshirt and jeans
No clothing description reported for the second man

Armed Robbery – On April 3 at 8:40PM, officers responded to the Shell service station located at 8195 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that an unknown man entered the business and approached the clerk. During the encounter, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched for the suspect who was not located.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 18 & 22 years of age, 5’8”, 170lbs
Last seen wearing a black coat with a black hooded sweatshirt, gray top with white sole sneakers, black mask, and black & gray gloves

Abduction – On April 4 at 2:01AM, officers responded to investigate an alleged abduction that was reported to have occurred in the area of Sharpsburg Ct and Community Dr in Manassas (20109) the day prior, on April 3 at approximately 4:45PM. The victim, an 18-year-old man, reported to police that he had just left a residence of an acquaintance in the above area and was walking towards Sudley Rd when an unknown man in a red, 4-door Toyota pulled alongside him. The driver asked the victim if he wanted a ride and the victim accepted.

Once in the vehicle, the driver pulled out a knife and forced the victim to drink an unknown liquid. The driver then drove to the area of Brandon Way in Manassas where he forced the victim into the trunk area of the vehicle. The victim reported being in the trunk for several hours before being let out in the Centreville area of Fairfax County.

At that point, the driver was accompanied by a second man who took the victim’s cellphone. The victim was able to get away from the suspects and run to a residence where police were contacted. Fairfax County Police initially responded and then contacted Prince William County police when the victim disclosed the incident. No injuries were reported. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
Hispanic male, between 35-40 years of age, 5’9”, 160lbs with short brown hair, a scar on his upper lip, and a tattoo on his arm
Last seen wearing a light blue jacket and jeans

The victim was unable to describe the second suspect
