**ARRESTS**
Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On September 26th at 6:57AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14100 block of Essex Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 36 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly struck the victim and, at one point, began to choke her. The suspect took the victim’s phone when she attempted to contact police. The victim was eventually able to contact police. Minor injuries were reported. The accused fled the area prior to officers arriving at the home. He was eventually located and arrested.

**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery – On September 29th at 9:49PM, officers responded to the area of Mapledale Rd and Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The victims, a 19 year old woman and a 23 year old man – both of Woodbridge, reported to police that they were sitting in a vehicle in the above area when they were approached by two unknown men. One of the men pulled out a gun while the other pulled out a knife. The men took the victims cell phones and fled the area in a vehicle. No injuries were reported. The suspects were only described as black males in their late teens.
Burglary to Business – On September 29th at 12:05PM, officers responded to the Prince Pizza & Grill located at 2902 Garber Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred around 1:39AM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through a rear door which was found damaged. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
