**ARRESTS**
Narcotics Investigation – On October 17th, investigators were executing a search warrant at 202 Broadway St, #202C in the Town of Quantico (22134) when narcotics were discovered. The initial investigation was unrelated to narcotics prompting a separate investigation by members of the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force. A narcotics related search warrant was subsequently obtained and executed without incident. As a result of the search, prescription medications, marijuana, counterfeit currency and real currency were located. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested. This arrest was previously held for investigative purposes.

Mary Louise RICE, 45, of 202 Broadway St, #202C in the Town of Quantico
Charged with 2 counts of possession with intent to distribute a scheduled I or II narcotic and 1 count of forging coin or bank notes
Court date: February 6, 2015 | bond: held WITHOUT bond [at the time of arrest]
Burglary | Destruction of Property – On January 3rd at 5:15PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2400 block of Eastbourne Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary in progress. The caller reported to police that someone forced entry into a neighbor’s residence located in the above area. Officers arrived and discovered a front window was broken out. Upon searching the residence, the accused was located inside the home and was detained without further incident. The investigation revealed that the accused was known to the homeowner; however, no longer lived at the residence. The homeowner was not present during the incident. Extensive property damage was discovered inside the home. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Daniel Russell THOMPSON, 35, of 14257 Princedale Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with 1 count of burglary, 1 count of felony destruction of property and 2 counts of destruction of property

Strong Armed Robbery | Assault & Battery – on January 4th at 5:08AM, officer responded to an apartment located in the 14100 block of Cove Landing Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 19 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated physically. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim’s wrist in an attempted to retrieve her cell phone. The accused continued to assault the victim and pushed her before taking the phone and leaving the residence. No injuries were reported. While investigating the incident, the accused returned to the scene and was arrested without further incident. The cell phone was also returned to the victim.

Pushpa GURUNG, 32, of 4309 Granby Rd in Woodbridge
Charged with robbery and assault & battery
Court date: February 20, 2015 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond
Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On January 3rd at 8:25PM, officers responded to the 12900 block of Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a disorderly call. The caller reported to police that an unknown woman, later identified as the accused, was yelling and throwing things in the above area. Officers arrived and made contact with the accused who was visibly intoxicated. When officers placed the accused under arrest, she actively resisted and, at one point, spat on two officers. The accused was eventually arrested without further incident. No injuries were reported.

Regine Marie WHITMORE, 52, of no fixed address
Charged with 2 counts of assault & battery on a LEO and 1 count of resisting arrest
Court date: March 5, 2015 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond
