Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-1), who represents part of the Prince William County area, will lead a subcommittee hearing this afternoon, March 14, entitled, “Is Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Appropriate at this Time?”
Wittman, chairman of the House Armed Services Readiness Subcommittee, will receive testimony from Department of Defense officials on the potential for proposals on Base Realignment and Closure during Fiscal Year 2014 and beyond. The hearing will take place at 3:30 p.m. in the Rayburn House Office Building.
