On Saturday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Loudoun Campus of Northern Virginia Community College will host Loudoun County STEM Day. The event is free and open to the public.
Loudoun County STEM Day showcases opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math. Designed for all ages, the day features hands-on exhibits, workshops, food and music in a festival-like atmosphere.
STEM Day has educational workshops and exhibits for the whole family. Learn about robotics, game design, music recording, biotechnology, cybersecurity, engineering, horticulture, veterinary technology and more. Activities will be taught by NOVA and Loudoun County Public Schools faculty assisted by college and high school students.
The free event is a collaborative effort between Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, Loudoun County Public Schools and NOVA.
