Community conversation Aug. 20 on proposed PWC revisions to rural area development policies
Prince William Conservation Alliance will host a community conversation about “Keep Your Green” and proposed revisions to rural area development policies on Monday, Aug. 20, at 6:30 p.m. at Water’s End Brewery, 12425 Dillingham Square, Lake Ridge, VA 22192.
According to Prince William County planning staff, the proposed revisions to rural area policies are “potentially far reaching, especially those affecting land use and land preservation.” Attendees can learn how these could influence development in the rural area and the development area.
Attendees are invited to add ideas, comments, and questions to the community conversation, led by Gainesville Supervisor Peter Candland, Occoquan Supervisor Ruth Anderson, Jack Kooyoomjian of the Lake Ridge Occoquan Communities Ciivic Association (LOCCA) and Elizabeth Ward, of PW Soil & Water Conservation District.
