Superintendent Steven Walts, members of his staff, and at least four School Board members will attend a luncheon on May 7 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the library at Potomac High School.
Students in the school’s Culinary Arts Program will prepare and host the luncheon to show off their skills and teamwork. Customer service is a big part of the student learning experience.
Cinco de Mayo is the theme of the four-course luncheon.
The menu choices include black bean or chicken tortilla soup; chicken and cheese stuffed chili pepper; grilled fish tacos with chipotle-lime dressing, chicken chimichanga, or beef fajita quesadillas; and cinco de chili chocolate cupcakes with chili cream cheese frosting, or avocado lime cheesecake.
