Christmas Eve assault reported at Manassas church

**INCIDENTS** as reported by the Prince William County Police Department on Jan. 5, 2015.

Malicious Wounding – On January 3rd at 3:00PM, officers responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred at the First Pentecostal Church located at 8216 Birch St in Manassas (20111) on December 24th. The victim, a 41 year old man of Culpeper, reported to police that he was attending service at the church when he was confronted by the accused, a known acquaintance. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim down a flight of concrete steps as the victim was exiting the church. As a result, the victim sustained a significant leg injury. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant against the accused.

Described as a white male, 5’4”, 175lbs with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes

Malicious Wounding | Domestic Assault & Battery – On December 31st at 10:47AM, officers responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred at an apartment located in the 11000 block of Camfield Dr in Manassas (20109) on December 22nd. The victim, a 49 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated physically. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a screwdriver and struck the victim in the lower body. No injuries were reported. The victim’s male acquaintance, identified as a 49 year old man of Manassas, witnessed the encounter and was then stabbed in the chest with the screwdriver by the accused. Only superficial injuries were sustained. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants against the accused.

Armed Robbery – On January 4th at 10:48PM, officers responded to the Subway located at 14232 Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and approached the counter. Once at the counter, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The man fled the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of currency. No injuries were reported.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 23 & 30 years of age, 5’8”, 180lbs with a thin build, dark complexion and long black dreadlocks
Last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants
