Christmas Day death at Buddhist Temple in Lake Ridge

DAILY INCIDENT REPORT December 27, 2024

INCIDENTS
• Death Investigation – On December 25, 2024 at 12:30PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Watt Buddhacheya Mongkol Buddhist Temple located at 3905 Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a death. The investigation revealed members of the temple located the body of a 48-year-old man suffering from severe burns in a bedroom inside the temple. The man was a member of the Temple and known to stay on premises. The man was pronounced dead on scene. Preliminarily, there were no signs of foul play. The cause and manner of death is pending by the Medical Examiner’s Office. More information will be released as necessary.

ARRESTS
• Malicious Wounding (Domestic) – On December 26 at 6:35PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Hampton Sq Condos located in the 3600 block of Chippendale Cir in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic dispute. The investigation revealed the victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a physical altercation. During the encounter, the accused cut the victim to his shoulder before the parties were separated by another family member who was also assault and pushed to the ground by the accused. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Said Amjad MUSAMAM, was arrested.

•Strong-Arm Robbery – On Dec. 25, 2024 at 9:42PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 4800 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed a man, later identified as the accused, attempted to go behind the counter when he was confronted by an employee. During the encounter, the accused pushed the employee before taking money and leaving the business. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched for the accused who was located on Kellogg Dr where he was detained without further incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Khalil Ibrahim SILLAH, was arrested.
