Felony Child Neglect – On February 25 at 11:34AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4000 block of Edinburg Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a child neglect. When officers arrived, they located a 5-year-old boy, who was left unattended by his mother, identified as the accused, for several hours.
Officers were able to contact the mother who then returned to the residence. The child was not injured. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Norma Mendez MENDEZ, was arrested without incident.
