Burglary reported in Manassas; attempted burglary reported in Woodbridge

Residential Burglary – On August 16 at 11:00PM, Prince William County police officers responded to an apartment located in the 10100 block of Woodbury Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred sometime between 8:00PM and 10:30PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the apartment. A television was reported missing, the police report said.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On August 16 at 9:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3700 block of Matura Pl in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred sometime 1between 0:30AM on August 7 and 9:00PM on August 16. It appears entry was attempted into an attached garage. The garage door was found damaged. No entry was made into the garage or interior of the home, according to Off. Nathan Probus, police department spokesman.
