Burglary, attempted burglary at rural area homes

**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On May 27 at 10:00AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11700 block of Lucasville Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 3:00PM on May 25 and 8:00AM on May 27, entry was made into a detached garage through a garage door which was found partially opened. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the garage. Tools and miscellaneous items were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On June 2 at 6:20PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16100 block of Thoroughfare Rd in Broad Run (20137) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 10:00AM and 4:00PM, entry was attempted into the home through a door which was found damaged. No entry was made and no property was reported missing.
