**INCIDENTS**
Aggravated Malicious Wounding / Burglary While Armed (Previously Released) – On October 17 at approximately 1209AM, police responded to the 3600 block of Meandering Way for a report of a man who was shot. When police arrived they encountered one adult male with gunshot wounds and one adult male suffering from multiple cut wounds. Both men were transported by helicopter to the hospital. The case is still under investigation but preliminary information indicates the parties were known to each other and that this was not a random incident.
Armed Robbery – On October 16 at 11:38AM, officers responded to an armed robbery that occurred at the 7-Eleven at 14400 Gideon Drive, Woodbridge (22193). The clerk reported that the suspect attempted to purchase an item and then drew a handgun and took the entire cash drawer. The suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 19 years of age, thin build, wearing a grey ski cap and purple shirt.

Attempted Robbery / Assault & Battery – On October 16 at approximately 3:52PM, officers responded to the 18300 block of Sharon Road in Triangle (22172) for an attempted robbery. The victim, a juvenile male from Triangle, reported that he was approached by 2 males as he walked home from the bus stop. The suspects pushed him down and searched his pockets before fleeing on foot. Suspect 1 is described as a white male, 20 – 25 years of age, 5’9”, 150 pounds, wearing a white or grey t-shirt and blue jean pants. Suspect 2 is described as a black male, 17 to 19 years of age, 5’8”, 180 pounds, wearing a black t-shirt, saggy jeans, and bright yellow sneakers.
Burglary – On October 16 at 4:39 PM, officers responded to the report of a burglary that had occurred on the 1500 block of Walnut Street in Woodbridge (22191). The victim reported that between September 13 and October 2 unknown persons removed power tools valued at more than $1200 from a detached garage. Entry appears to have been made through a side door.
Burglary – On October 16 at 8:57PM, officers responded to the report of a burglary that occurred between October 11 and October 13 in the 2000 block of Horizon Court in Woodbridge (22191). The reporting person stated that a work laptop was missing from the residence. The value of the missing computer is unknown. There were no signs of forced entry to the apartment.
Burglary – On October 15 at 12:30PM, officers responded to the 15200 block of Lord Culpeper Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. The resident reported that unknown person(s) entered through a rear basement door and removed a computer, tennis shoes, and cash from the house. The items were valued in excess of $2400.
Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling – On October 15 at 4:00PM, an officer was flagged down regarding someone shooting in the area of the 2900 block of Wythe Court in Dumfries (22026). According to the reporting person, on October 10 at approximately 3:30AM several shots were heard in the area. There are no reported injuries and no other complaints were received regarding this event.
**ARRESTS**
Abduction / Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony / Domestic Assault & Battery / Brandishing a Firearm - On October 16 at approximately 8:10AM officers responded to the 2100 block of Oberlin Drive in Woodbridge (22191) after receiving a call from a female reporting that she was being held at the residence against her will. Investigation revealed that the victim, a 25 year old female from Woodbridge, had been assaulted in the residence, threatened with a handgun, and was prevented from leaving the residence by Graylen Ellis, Jr.
ARRESTED: Ellis, Graylen, JR., Male, 32, 2198 Oberlin Drive, Woodbridge, 22191. Charged with Abduction, Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, Domestic Assault & Battery,and Brandishing a Firearm. Held on no bond. Court date is unknown.
