Bullet damages barn on Glenkirk Rd.
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On Friday, Nov. 13 at 2:34PM, Prince William County police officers responded to 14600 block of Glenkirk Rd. in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a shots fired call.
The caller reported to police that while outside of a barn in the above area, a gunshot was heard before the barn was struck by a projectile. The caller also observed an unknown vehicle in the area and contacted the police. Responding officers located damage to the barn and bullet fragments inside.
During the investigation, officers received information identifying the accused. The investigation revealed that the accused was in the area hunting when he fired a round to clear his firearm. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, as Jeffrey Scott NEAL was charged.
Charged on Nov. 13: Jeffrey Scott NEAL, 46, of 4999 Bentonville Rd. in Warren
