Building collapses on Battle Street in Manassas

At about 9 p.m. on February 14, a building on Battle Street in the historic downtown area of the City of Manassas had a substantial collapse, according to Patty Prince, public affairs specialist for the city government.
No one was injured as the building was unoccupied.
Units responded, evacuating 14 people from apartments in adjacent buildings as a precaution.
Battle Street from the railroad tracks to Center Street is closed to traffic.
