Bristow mother charged with contributing to delinquency of minor

ARRESTS
Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor – On Saturday, June 1, at 5:24PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 11700 block of Dawkins Ridge Ln. in Bristow (20136) to investigate a found child.  The investigation revealed a Good Samaritan contacted police after locating the victim, a 4-year-old boy, walking outside unclothed and unsupervised.
While checking the area, officers located the child’s home and determined the mother, identified as the accused, was unaware the boy had left the residence. The child did not appear to be injured and was released to the custody of known parties. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Sharmila PRASAI, was charged.
