Bank robbery in Gainesville

Armed Bank Robbery
On Friday, March 30, 2012 at 12:17 p.m., Prince William County police responded to the Bank of America located at 14752 Lee Hwy in Gainesville (20155) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the bank, implied he had a handgun and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing the area, possibly in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Lookout has been issued for a Black male, in his 30’s or 40’s, around 5’10” / 160lbs who was last seen wearing a green baseball style hat with a New York Yankees logo, brown jacket, jeans and glasses.
