Aug. 31 bank robbery in Lake Ridge; PWC Police post suspect’s description
Armed Robbery – On August 31st at 4:52PM, officers responded to the PNC Bank within the Giant Grocery Store located at 12445 Hedges Run Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery.
An employee reported to police that an unknown man approached the bank area, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area in a gray or silver vehicle, unknown make or model. No injuries were reported.
A police K-9 and a Fairfax County police helicopter were used to search for the suspect.

Suspect Description: Black male, 5’8’’, with a thick build. Last seen wearing a long sleeve white t-shirt, yellow construction style helmet with letters “ICN” written on it, white bandage wrapped around right hand, and a blue visor around neck
