Attempted Abduction
At approximately 1:20 p.m. on June 13, 2016, Manassas City Police responded to the area of Stonewall Park located at 8351 Stonewall Road for an attempted abduction.
The victim, a 35-year-old female of Manassas, told officers that she was walking in Stonewall Park with her son at approximately noon when an unknown male approached and attempted to grab her.
After the victim yelled at the suspect he ran into a wooded area towards Manassas Park. The victim and her son escaped unharmed. This is an ongoing investigation.
Description of suspect: Hispanic male, approximately 30 years old with short dark hair, dark eyes, a medium build, and dark complexion last seen wearing a white tank top with light blue jeans
