Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Robbery | Strangulation – On August 6 at 12:08AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 7500 block of Wedgewood Dr in Manassas (20109) earlier that evening.
The investigation revealed that the victim, identified as a 26-year-old man, and an unknown man, later identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. The two men originally met the night prior where the accused agreed to hold the victim’s bike at the above residence. When the victim went to retrieve the bike, the argument ensued.
At one point, the accused retrieved a large knife and struck the victim several times causing a severe laceration to the victim’s arm. During the altercation, the accused also placed the victim in a chokehold before demanding the victim’s property.
The victim was eventually able to separate from the accused and run to his residence where police were contacted. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The accused was not located. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Miguel Armando RUIZ-RAMIREZ. Attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful.

Described as a Hispanic male, 5’6”, 135lbs with brown hair and brown eyes
