**ARRESTS**

Domestic Assault & Battery | Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO]  – On April 28th at 2:31AM, police responded to the 15700 block of Tassia Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic disturbance. The victim, a 29 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, had a verbal argument which escalated. During the encounter, the victim attempted to leave the residence, but the accused refused to let her leave. The victim then contacted a family member who subsequently contacted police.  When officers arrived on scene, they encountered the accused at the residence. The accused became aggressive with officers and then fled to another room inside the residence. Once, inside the room the accused locked door.  Officers could hear a female yelling from inside the room.  Officers made entry into the room, at which point, a struggle ensued between officers and the accused.  During the struggle the accused pushed and struck officers and continued to actively resist as officers attempted to arrest him.  The accused was eventually detained and treated at an area hospital for minor injuries.  After treatment, the accused was transported to the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] | Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor - On April 29th at 7:00PM, police responded to the 11800 block of Critton Cir in Woodbridge (22192) for an investigation involving a domestic disturbance. Following the investigation, the accused became aggressive toward officers as they attempted to arrest a family member of the accused. The accused pushed and grabbed an officer while holding the victim, a five year old girl of Woodbridge. Officers completed the arrest of the family member and later obtained warrants for the accused.  The accused was subsequently arrested without further incident.

Attempted Residential Burglary | False Identification to a Law Enforcement Officer – On April 29th at 3:34AM, police responded to the 4300 block of Wabash Pl in Woodbridge 22193 to investigate a burglary.  The homeowner reported to police that he was alerted by the sound of an unknown person, later identified as the accused, attempting to turn the door knob on the front door of the residence. The homeowner observed the accused through a peep-hole and contacted police. As officers arrived, a vehicle stop was conducted on a vehicle observed departing from the above referenced location. An occupant of the vehicle matched the description of the accused, as provided by the homeowner.  The accused initially provided officer’s with false identification. However, following an investigation, the accused was subsequently identified and arrested without incident.
