Abduction | Armed Robbery *ARRESTS – On September 5th, detectives from the Robbery Unit located the suspect vehicle at a motel in the City of Manassas. The vehicle left the parking lot and was stopped by patrol officers. Both occupants were subsequently identified as the suspects sought in the robbery which was reported in the 7700 Stream Walk Dr in Manassas on August 27th. Following the investigation, both suspects were arrested.
Arrested on September 5th:
Steven Michael PULLEN, 24, of 10678 Elk Run Dr in Catlett

Kristina Marie ELDER, 24, of 8 Griffis Ln in Stafford

Both suspects were charged with robbery

Abduction | Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On August 28th at 8:13AM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the block of 7700 Stream Walk Dr in Manassas (20109) on August 27th at around 8:30AM. The victim, a 53 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was a parking lot in the above area when a gray car, occupied by a white male and white female, pulled up and offered to hire him for landscaping work.  The victim agreed and got into their car. The two suspects then drove to an area convenience store before driving to a wooded area.  Once there, the male suspect grabbed the victim around his neck and pulled out a knife.  The suspects took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim. Minor injuries were reported.

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On September 4th at 3:14AM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 10900 block of Coverstone Dr in Manassas (20109) around 2:30AM. The victim, a 37 year old man of Fredericksburg, reported to police that he was attending a party at a residence in the above area. At one point, the victim stepped outside and was approached by two men that had left the party earlier. Both men displayed handguns and demanded money. The men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and a cell phone from the victim before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects. This incident was not random.
Suspect Descriptions:
White male, between 18 & 30 years of age, 5’11”, 175lbs with a medium build and long curly black hair
Last seen wearing a black skull cap, black shirt and pants

Black male, between 18 & 30 years of age, 6’0”, 180lbs with a medium build, medium complexion and short black hair

Armed Robbery – On August 31st at 1:57AM, officers responded to the 8300 block of Shoppers Sq in Manassas (20111) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 22 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was outside the Malibu Sports Bar and Grill when he encountered an unknown woman. During the encounter, the victim went to the rear of the business where he then encountered two unknown men. One of the men had a knife and demanded the victim’s property. At one point, one of the men struck the victim in the face. Minor injuries were reported. The suspects took the victim’s wallet and cell phone before fleeing the area. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects. The victim was only able to describe one of the men and the woman involved in the incident.
Suspect Descriptions:
Black male, between 20 & 30 years of age, 5’8”, 160lbs with short curly black hair and brown eyes

White female, between 19 7 22 years of age, 5’6”, 140lbs with a medium build and long black hair

Strong Armed Robbery – On September 7th at 1:15PM, officers responded to Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 63 year old woman of Sterling, reported to police that she was sitting in the main walkway inside the mall when she was approached by two unknown men. The men grabbed the victim’s phone from her hands and immediately fled on foot, exiting the mall. No injuries were reported and no weapon was displayed.
Suspect Descriptions:
Two black males, both reported to be between 25 & 30 years of age with thin builds
1st male was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with a black design on the front, black shorts and white & black high-top shoes

2nd male was last seen wearing a black tank top, black shorts with a red stripe, a light colored hat and blue & gray shoes

Suspicious Incident/Person – On September 7th at 4:52PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Dodson Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a suspicious person. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 7 year old girl of Woodbridge, reported to her family that she was in the front yard of the residence when an unknown man approached her on foot. During the encounter, the man touched the girl’s arm. The victim screamed and ran to the rear of the residence where other family members were located. The victim did not know the man; however, did note that he smelled of alcohol. No injuries were reported by the victim. The man was last seen walking towards Cloverdale Rd. Officers conducted an extensive check of the area and did not locate the man.
Suspect Description:
Male, between 18 & 30 years of age, with a thin build, dark complexion, shaved head and clean shaven face
Last seen wearing a red t-shirt and light blue pants

Residential Burglary – On September 6th at 7:49AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12700 block of Valleyhill St in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on September 3rd and 6:00PM on September 5th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry was made into an attached garage through an open door. A miter saw, valued around $700, was reported missing. No entry was made into the main residence.

Commercial Burglary – On September 5th at 6:34PM, officers responded to CW Price Department Store located at 14250 Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM and 9:00PM on September 1st. The investigation revealed that entry was made into an interior office area through a door which was pried open. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On September 5th at 10:43AM, officers responded to the Ravens Crest Apartments located at 8098 Raven Crest Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary to the clubhouse. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM on September 4th and 7:30AM on September 5th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the clubhouse. Entry is believed to have been made in to the building through an unlocked door. No property was reported missing. Damage and cleanup was estimated to be around $800.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On September 6th at 2:31PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3200 block of Berlin Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that on two separate occasions between 2:00PM on August 31st and 2:15PM on September 6th, entry was attempted into the apartment through the front door which was found damaged. The damage to the door resembled pry marks and was first discovered on August 31st. The resident of the apartment then noticed further damage on September 6th and contacted police. No entry was made into the apartment on either occasion and no property was reported missing. 

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding – On September 7th at 6:22PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7400 block of Barbados Ln in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 49 year old man of Centreville, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim in the arm. The parties separated prior to officers arriving at the residence. The victim went to an area hospital for treatment. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Indecent Exposure – On September 4th at 1:38PM, officers responded to the 10300 block of Festival Ln in Manassas (20109) to investigate an indecent exposure incident. The victim’s, a 44 year old woman and a 39 year old woman – both of Manassas, reported to police that they were loading bags into a vehicle in the parking lot when they encountered an unknown man. During the encounter, the victims further reported that the man exposed himself towards them. The suspect left the area in a vehicle. The victims were able to provide a license plate and description of the suspect vehicle which was located a short time later and stopped on Taney Rd. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Lawrence Maurice BARBOUR, 59, of 9202 Taney Rd in Manassas
Charged with 2 counts of indecent exposure
Court date: October 7, 2014 | Bond: $5,000 secured

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On September 6th at 11:22PM, officers responded to a wooded area in the 10700 block of Coverstone Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a trespasser complaint. Officers arrived and located the accused who was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. When officers attempted to arrest the accused, he actively resisted and, at one point, pushed an officer. After a brief struggle, the accused was detained. Following the encounter, the accused was arrested. No injuries were reported.
Arrested on September 6th:
Benedicto HERNANDEZ-ARAGON, 36, of no fixed address
Charged with assault & battery on a LEO, resisting arrest and intoxication in public
Court date: October 27, 2014 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond
