Malicious Wounding *ARREST – On January 3, Raquese Laquwan HARRIS turned himself into police without incident at the Adult Detention Center in Manassas. The accused was wanted for a malicious wounding which occurred in the 5200 block of Waterway Dr in Dumfries on December 23.

Charged with malicious wounding, domestic assault & battery, and grand larceny

Malicious Wounding [Previously Released] – On December 23 at 9:40PM, officers responded to investigate a domestic assault which occurred in the 5200 block of Waterway Dr in Dumfries (22025) earlier that evening. The investigation revealed that a 23-year-old woman of Woodbridge was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, an acquaintance, in the above area which escalated. During the encounter, the accused punched the woman in the face causing minor injuries. The accused took her iPad and car keys before leaving the area. The woman then contacted the victim, identified as a 30-year-old man of Woodbridge, to come pick her up. At some point, the accused returned the area before the victim arrived and began arguing with the woman again. When the victim arrived, the accused retrieved a baseball bat from his car and struck him several times in the head with the bat causing serious injuries. The parties eventually separated and the woman drove the victim to a local hospital for treatment then contacted police. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Raquese Laquwan HARRIS. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
