Additional suspect wanted in connection with Jan. 13 burglary case turns himself in to PWC Police

Burglary while Armed *ADDITIONAL ARREST – On January 17, Kabel La’Quan MOODY turned himself into police without incident at the Adult Detention Center in Manassas. The accused was wanted for a home invasion which occurred in the 2300 block of West Longview Dr in Woodbridge on January 13.
Arrested on January 17:
Kabel La’Quan MOODY, 25, of 10404 Vineyard Ln, #134 in Fairfax
Charged with attempted robbery, burglary while armed, and use of a firearm in commission of a felony

Burglary while Armed [Previously Released] – On January 13 at 11:03AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2300 block of West Longview Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a home invasion. The victim, a 30-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that two men brandished handguns and entered his home. One of the men was known to the victim. A struggle ensued and the suspects fled the residence. Minor injuries were reported and no property was taken. The incident was not random and appeared to be narcotics related. Detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify both men involved. Following the investigation, one of suspects, identified as Decontae Shameer COSME, was arrested. The second suspect, identified as Kabel La’Quan MOODY, is currently being sought by police on active warrants.

**INCIDENTS**

Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling – On January 17 at 8:20PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3400 block of Belleplain Ct in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a destruction of property call. The homeowner reported to police that possible damage caused by a bullet was discovered to an interior wall. The damage occurred sometime between January 13 and 6:00PM on January 17. No injuries or other property damage were reported.

Residential Burglary – On January 17 at 10:47PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16300 block of Gangplank Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11:00PM on January 15 and 12:00AM on January 16. The investigation revealed that entry was made into a detached garage through an unsecured door. A vehicle parked inside of the garage was rummaged through and no property was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On January 17 at 6:19PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12400 block of Selkirk Cir in Bristow (21036) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 9:00AM and 2:30PM, entry was attempted into the residence through a front door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
